A.S.ROMA REJECTED DALEY BLIND AS A REPLACEMENT FOR EMERSON PALMERI.

A.S Roma were looking for a defender after they had sold their Brazilian defender Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea for a sum of 25 twenty five million pounds. The sporting Director of A.S.Roma Mr Monchi had short listed a few defenders to choose from, and one was the Dutch defender Daley Blind, now Daley Blind is the son of the former captain of Holland and Ajax , his name is Danny Blind. But A.S.Roma finally rejected Daley Blind, the reason being that it was reject mainly to financial reasons, the value put on Daley Blind was far to high for A.S. Roma. And in the end A.S.Roma signed up a Argentinean defender on six month loan deal from the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon. His name was Jonathan Silva.
