In the year 2003 a young sixteen year old Spaniard joined Arsenal, from the Spanish giants F.C. .Barcelona, he came to Arsenal on a free transfer as well. His name was Cesc Fabregas, he was product of the Barcelona, famous youth Academy called THE LA MASIA, the CASTLE.
Arsene wenger was famous for sporting as well as nurturing young talent, e always looked to the future. But the deal never was going to be smooth sailing after all.
Arsene Wenger wanted to see Cesc Fabregas playa game at the Nou Camp,But Barcelona warned Arsene Wenger that he should not enter Barcelona ever. No problem here..
Arsene Wenger flew down to Helsinki, Finland to watch the under 17, seventeen world cup final game. There Spain won the world cup with goals scored by Cesc Fabregas, who also won the Golden Boot as well.
He Cesc Fabregas was brought by Arsenal to replace Patrick Vieira , who had joined Juventus in Italy. Cesc Fabregas demanded that he be given more paying time at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger agreed and also gave the jersey number 4 for Cesc Fabregas , as well as the armband later on.
