WHY ARSENAL WORE MAROON JERSEYS AT HIGHBURY IN THE YEAR 2006.

 If you do go back to the year 2006, any match of Arsenal being played at Highbury, for the last season, then one thing will trike you at once, as Arsenal are wearing maroon coloured  jersey fr the entire season,
And not once did Arsenal wear their very famous jersey of red and white colour , that year.
 But the real reason for Arsenal players to wear the maroon jersey, was that when Arsenal played their very first match at Highbury they were then wearing  the Maroon coloured jersey and not the famous red and white jersey.
 But the following year and playing at the EMIRASTE STADIUM, they Arsenal went back to their  famous Red and white jersey.
