WOJCIECH SZCZESNY IS NOW ON A YEARS LONG LOAN AT A.S.ROMA.
Both these clubs A.S.Roma and Arsenal , have now agreed a deal to send the Arsenal goalkeeper from Poland Wojciech Szczesny to AS.Roma on a year long loan.
But there was a minor difficulty in agreeing to the deal, as Arsenal were only keen on a year long loan, and were not keen to add a clause of making him a permanent deal to A.S.Roma.
In other words he will be back at Arsenal next summer.
This will make David Ospina second goalkeeper after Petr Cech.
There was a sticking point in the talks as who would pay and how much would the two clubs pay for the Polish goalkeepers weekly salary, it has now been decided that A.S.Roma will pay his entire salary during his stay with A.S.Roma.
First it was only a loan deal, but it now looks like A.S.Roma can make even a permanent deal after the year long loan, the price is five million Euros or 3.5 million pounds.
