RON SPRINGETT DIES AT EIGHTY YEARS.
Ron Springett who played for England in the 1966 world cup, which England won in London under Sir Bobby Moore. Ron Springett was eighty years old, and started as a goalkeeper with Queen Park Rangers, and then moved on to Sheffield Wednesday.
