Over the years many have won this famous trophy, some have won it five times even like Lionel Messi has done in his glittering career so far. but the Brazilian striker Ronaldo holds a rare record here . He is the only footballer ever to win this Pichichi award twice once with each Spanish giants Real Madrid as well as Barcelona, no player from Europe, Americas or Africa have ever achieved this big feet. Ronaldo won the Pichichi award in 1998 with Barcelona and won it in 2004 with Real Madrid. The award is named after the Spanish footballer Pichichi Moreno.
