It happened sadly during the 2006 World Cup in Germany, this was the first world cup to be played, after both the two Germanys united together as one nation and one flag. This particular match was played between Portugal and Holland, and the match was played in Nuremberg . The referee for this match was a Russian referee as well. There were players freely pushing, pulling down players , sliding tackles with their stud showing, and every rule was broken here.
