WHAT WAS ARSENE WENGER 'S YEARLY SALARY IN THE YEAR 1996?

The French manager Arsene wenger has spent a total of 22 twenty two years as the manager of Arsenal, mind you he has almost spent half his life in another country serving one and only Arsenal. But still the wretched Arsenal fans are never ever grateful to what he has did for Arsenal. It might be well known that he is getting a yearly salary of 8, eight million pounds only, while Pep Guardiola is going to get 20, twenty million pounds in his next contract. What must be noted here is that Arsene wenger has served Arsenal for 22 twenty two years, while Pep Guardiola is serving his second year at Manchester City. But it may surprise many that at eight million pounds a year means 15, fifteen pounds a minute. But what may shock many was back in the year 1996 Arsene Wenger on joining Arsenal got a yearly salary of just 500,000 five hundred thousand pounds. I wonder if Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho would have worked for this small amount as a yearly salary.
