KEVIN PHILIPS TAKES UP THE CHALLENGE TO SCORE THIRTY GOALSIN A YEAR.

 Alan Shearer the former Blackburn Rovers striker and Newcastle United striker, and he is the only footballer ever to play in the  English Premier League, and score 30 or more goals  in a year twice.
 Now Alan Shearer scored thirty goals with Blackburn Rovers and thirty goals with Newcastle United as well.Now Alan shearer aid it is now impossible  for a footballer to score thirty goals in a single season. As they had reduced the number of matches to be played in the English Premier League, from 42, forty two games to 38, thirty-eight games, reduced by six games.
 Now Kevin Philips , who first played for Southampton, and was clearly told he as not good enough.
 So Kevin Philips  joined  Sunderland , the yoyo club always hobbling in the relegation fight each year.
 At Sunderland Kevin Philips  made partners with the 6.4 inch Niall Quinn, and these two made a very good pair scored many goals as well.
 Kevin Philips took up Alan Shearers challenge and scored a total of 30, thirty goals  in a  season in the year  in the 1999 /, 2000   season.
  That year e also won the  Golden Boot  in Europe, that is scoring the most goals  in Europe that is in England, Germany, Italy, Spain and in France..
