People even today ask why did Barcelona Pep Guardiola sell both of these Brazilians Ronaldhino and Deco.. Now Deco was a Brazilian born footballer who went and joined up with the Portuguese club F.C.Porto, and he even took up Portuguese citizenship,and won the Euro Cup with Portugal.
Ronaldhino really means Little Ronaldo, it was given not to mix up names with Ronaldo Nazario.
Playing for Barcelona is always tempting for the Brazilians with its famous night life, and Brazilian footballers are victims to this Roberto Carlos,Ronaldo Nazario, Neymar, Deco and Ronaldhino all had this big problems including being heavy drinkers.
Then both Ronaldhino and Deco often came for training in the morning drunk.Barcelona and Pep Guardiola , then decided that they will have to sell these two Brazilian , and they sold them with heavy harts.
But the real reason Barcelona decided to sell Ronaldhino and Deco, was to protect their very young talented player , who was promoted to the Barcelona team, and the seventeen year old boy was none other then Lionel Messi.
Can you magine how football would be with out Lionel Messi playing. he would have disappeared ages ahgo if he was following Ronaldhino and Deco, for drinking and for the night life.
