Many people might have wondered why are Turkey and Israel , play in the Euro Cup, world cup and why do their clubs from these two countries play in the champion league?
You see even if Turkey and Israel are countries are in the middle east, but they play because of these two reasons.
1) Turkey is falling in the middle east, but the northern tip of Turkey does join up with Bulgaria in Europe.. So it is entitled to play in Europe , and in the champion league as well,and these three clubs regularly make it to the champion league Fernerbache,Galatasary and Besiktas.
2) Where Israel is concerned is due to political reasons.
F.I.F.A and U.E.F.A know very well that the Muslim countries will not provide Israel footballers with visas , and another problem is the safety of the footballers from Israel .
And another problem is countries in the middle eat do not recognize Israel , and if you have a passport from Israel , you will not be given a ticket to fly from Kuwait for any country.
So Israel is grouped for both the world cup , Euro Cup and with a group of European countries.
