FRENCH FANS WANT THEIR GAME WITH SWITZERLAND REPLAYED,THIS IS THE REASON.

 Thousands of French fans now want that U.E.F.A replay the Quarter final match between France and Switzerland to be replayed, as they say the Swizz Goalkeeper  Sommar , had moved his leg for the penalty tat was taken by Kylian Mbappe, and the  French striker missed  that crucial penalty. And France were sent packing from te Euro Cup 2020..

 But nothing is going to happen here for sure ,the game is over and the result was final,as 1230 one hundred and twenty minutes were played al ten penalties were taken.

 In that match Thierry Henry touched the ball with his hand,but no foul was given and William Galas scored a goal. Thierry Henry apologized and suggested that the game should be replayed,but F.I.F.A were not having anything of that..

 Now what does  the U.E.F.A and F.I.F.A rule say about the legs of the goalkeepers during a penalty.

 Rule 14 says that a goalkeeper can stand on the line but can not move forward till the whistle blows.

The problem the fans have here is that the Swiz  goalkeeper  moved but one leg was clearly on the line , if both had crossed the line ten the penalty would ave to be retaken.

 U.E.F.A have clarified that  V.A.R was used here and it clearly showed that one leg was  flat on the line , which is legal in football.
