Even both clubs had serious talks over completing a transfer deal soon.
But the talks hit a hard wall as both clubs just could not agree to a transfer fee. A.S.Roma were very rigid in their decision ad would not budge a inch here Arsenal were asking 15, fifteen million pounds ,and A.S.Roma were not willing to pay more then 13, thirteen million pouds for him.
