Now most of he people keep saying that Barcelona re in this mess because they purchased footballers at high prices., and even higher wages. But this is not true in he last two years due to the Covid 19, or the Chinese virus clubs had to play to empty stadiums so no money came for two years , but hen players and staff had to get wages. So the trouble stared. No visitors to their museum and canteen either.
And to add to this the president of the La Liga had gone and put a salary cap on all the clubs in Spain. So Barcelona were told to reduce their salary from 557 fie hundred and fifty seven million pounds to 238 two hundred and thirty eight million pounds. So Barcelona had to sell players and to ask to take a pay cut .
Some obliged others refused like Antoine Greizmann so he was sold as he had very big wages..
As they had not trimmed their wages Lionel Messi could not be registered so he left as a free agent. But Gerard Pique took a ral big pay cut and so Eric Garcia,Memphis Depay were registered ,recently Jordi Alba, Serge Busquets and Serge Roberto took a pay cut now Sergio Aguero s registered as a Barcelona player.
Now you footballs do nt be to happy at Barcelona' problem. Now U.E.F.A have a important meeting in September and they want to introduce the salary cap for all clubs in Europe. Once that comes football is dead you can not buy players and you can not sell them all are cutting the ir wages.
If clubs like Chelsea,Manchester Unted and ManchesterCity , will ave ral trouble selling their players.
IT WILL BE THE TURN OF BARCELONA TO LAUGH AT ENGLISH CLUBS THAT BECOME HULL CITY.
