WHEN BLACKBURN ROVERS MISSED OUT ON BUYING ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI.

The year was 1995  and Blackburn Rovers had won he English  Premier League , with help of Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton. And their manager was the Big Sam Allardyce.

Now Sam Allardyce made a agreement with a certain Polish striker called Robert Lewandowski , and even  paid a um of 4.2 four point two million pounds. From the Polish club  Lech Poznal

And Robert Lewandowski flew down to England with a hope to play for Blackburn Roves , at Ea-wood Park. But sadly mother nature had other ideas.

Thee was a big eruption from a Icelandic volcano that spread and blew all over Europe.Vision was horrible and airlines landed in emergency countries.

As luck would have it the plane of Robert Lewandoski landed in Germany instead.

He then signed up for Borussia Dortmund and later with Bayern Munich.Rest is history.

Big Sam Allardyce was asked of his view on this big miss.He said ithink of it all the time I see him pay a game. It really hurts deep inside.
