ED WOODWARD ADMITS HE VETOED BUYING IVAN PERISIC FROM INTER MILAN ASBECAUSE OF COMMERCIAL REAONS>

 Now the former C.E.O of  Manchester United  Ed Woodward  has said he ha vetoed buying one of Jose Mourinho wanted to buy, he winger  Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, who wa playing fir Inter Milan, in te year 2017.

He had vetoed te deal mainly as it would  not benefit Manchester United financially on commercial grounds.

 Now Ivan Persic had scored 17 goals tat year ad e following year he scored 20 goals, and ten when on a loan at Bayern Munich he even won te treble.

 There is  not doubt he was a god footballer.

 but e must remember  that he grew up in a country during the Yugoslavian war. Food was scarce being under nourished stows in his unhealthy hair and skin.

But as a footballer he was just too good.
