SO IN FOOTBALL WHEN WERE TGE RED AND YELLOW CARD FIRST INTRODUCED>?

 Now early on in football there never as a red or yellow card   , as it is shown to payers today.

 In thise days referees had a very difficult time it was all oral ,like warning and remembering which player was booked   alll n te head , there were chances of forgetting the names. as wel.

 It was in te year  1966  that a English referee named Ken Ashton, while driving his car   had to stop at a red light sign , .

 It then struck the referee why not have a red and yellow card in football 

 And home he discussed it with his wife who made two cards a red and a yellow card, At the back it had space with Name, Number and time    .

 But it came to late for the 1966 world cup it wa actually introduced  in te1970 world cup.
