RODRYGO WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY FOR REAL MADRID. AND THIS IS WHY.

Real Madrid have been told that their Brazilian footballer Rodrigo an not play for Real Madrid ,and he will not be allowed to play for his new club, as he has not been given a number yet on his jersey. From the year 1988, at the EUROPEAN cup held and won by Holland, it has been made mandatory for footballers under the F.I.F.A rule to have their name as well as number on their back of the jersey. The byelaws of F.I.F.A and U.E.F.A clearly say in article 230 (a) tat all club footballers have to be registered with F.I.F.A, and each club can only have three footballers who do not hold a European Union country passport. The big problem here is that he has a Brazilian passport, or he will now have to apply for a Spanish passport. Last year Barcelona faced this problem, so their Brazilian footballer Philippe Coutinho could not play for Barcelona, but he has a wife from Portugal, so he applied and has now got a Portuguese passport. Mind you Real Madrid paid 40, forty million pouds for Rodrigo.
