WHY DID ARSENAL SELL ROBIN VAN PERSIE TO MANCHESTER UNITED.

It is not common for a big top club in a country to sell their player to their arch rival.Like the case here of Arsenal selling Robin Van Persie, to Manchester United. Now Robin Van Persie had joined Arsenal from the Dutch club Feyenoord , for a small fee of 2.70 million pounds a very small amount then. He was at Arsenal for roughly ten years but he was practically out injured for long periods, but he did score many goals for Arsenal, he suffered from knee injuries. But he got unsettled at Arsenal as he only won a F.A.Cup medal in all those years at Arsenal. At the age of 29, twenty nine years he decided to leave Arsenal for Manchester United, Arsenal did not want to sell him first , but he wanted to lave to win big trophies. And when Manchester United offered Arsenal a sum of 24 twenty four million pounds for the 29, twenty nine year old striker , Arsenal decided to sell him, as he missed to many games out injured. At Manchester United he won the English Premier League, under Sir Alex Ferguson, but he was then sold to Fenerbache , in Turkey and finally he ended his football with Feyenoord.
