From tis new season F.I.F.A have changed both the hand and leg rules. The new rule clearly states that any tackle on the leg parts say the Achilles ,for example with the attempt of tackling with no intention of getting at the ball in anyway will now get the player a straight red card. In their opening match for the new season Real Madrid experienced this new rule in their opening match against Celta Vigo. Luka Modric was shown a straight red card for such a tackle .
