THIS SEASON THERE IS A NEW HAND BALL RULE.

This year F.I.F.A have gone and introduced a new law, where handballs are concerned. Previously according to F.I.F.A rules on handballs it as always seen as to where the arm was , did the arm move towards the ball or di the ball move to the moving arm. Previously if the ball hit the hand intentionally there would be no foul and even a goal could be scored. But the rule has changed for the 2019/2020 season. The new rules say that if the ball touches the hand either intentionally or for the matter unintentionally , it will be a foul and the game must stop and the goal scored after a handball will no longer stand legally. So in the match played on 10/8/2019, between Wolves and Leicester City a goal was disallowed for Wolves as it had hit a arm before the goal was scored. By the way this was the first time this rule disallowed a goal.
