CRISTIANO RONALDO'S FATHER JOSE DINIS AVEIRO WAS A SOLDIER.

the father of Cristiano Ronaldo was Mr Jose Dini's Aveiro, and he was a soldier and went and fought a war in Africa. As Cristiano Ronaldo is from Portugal, it would be nice to know what his father did. Portugal had a colony in Africa and it was called Angola, as Portugal was under a dictator's rule at that time in the early 1970's. Now Angola was fighting for independence from Portugal so many men were sent to Angola to crush the Angolan rebels. But things were very hard food was scarce and often the food was spoilt ,and the army were not paid well then, and drinking water was scarce as the water in the lake was undrinkable, so they all drank Angolan beer .They also suffered illness with Malaria, trembling being the main illness.h Back home in Portugal after the war Mr Jose Dini's Aveiro did the work of a gardener. When Cristiano Ronaldo as a small boy joined his hometown club in Fulchul, his father was given a job at the club, here had to take care off the clothing, and to see all the uniforms were ready for practice, and boots as well. The habit of drinking beer was continued in Portugal, and he died in 1951 of liver problems. Cristiano Ronaldo said he never really knew his father well, and he missed the many trophies and awards that Cristiano Ronaldo won
