The year was 2010 and Barcelona were playing Almeria , in the Spanish La Liga match.
So before the match the Colombian footballer Fabian Vergas , who was playing for Almeria .
He then requested Lionel Messi to give him his Barcelona jersey after the match.
The reason Fabian Vergas wanted the jersey was to auction it for big money, a that year Colombia was facing very bad floods and people suffered.
But Lionel Messi said nothing after the match even.
While Fabian Vergas was in the visitors dressing room, he was informed that Lionel Messi wanted to see him, he had a bag in the hand which he gave Fabian Vergas.
But Fabian Vergas thought it would be only Lionel Messi's jersey in the bag.
But when Fabian Vergas opened the bag he was in for a very big surprise the bag not only had the jersey of Lionel Messi, but there were quite a few jerseys of Xavi Hernandez, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta,, Dani Aleve's, Gerrard Pique and Victor Valdez.
There was a note that said sorry I could get only these jerseys for you.
