The Spanish giants Real Madrid have now short listed the player who would most likely take the place of their captain Sergio Ramos , as the central defender at he club.
They have now chosen the very young Dutch central defender Matthijs De Light as the person most liely to replace Sergio Ramos in the long run .
But at present the Dutch defender Matthijs De Light is playing his club football in Italy, with the Italian club Juventus.
But Real Madrid are in no hurry to buy him, firstly the Juventus club like all football clubs , have been taking a big hit where money is concerned , due to the Corona Virus.
Real Madrid are also planning to give Sergio Ramos , a one year contract so to keep him at Real Madrid, so he will be 36,thirty six years old by then.
Sergio Ramos joined Real Madrid from Seville. And he is the footballer in Spain with the most red cards., he ha 26,twenty six red cards so far.
