The English football club Wolverhampton is a small club till recently, it was considered as a yoyo club along with WestBrom Albion., as they are quite frequently relegated and a year later they are prpomoted up top the English Premier League again..
Now the club is owned by a Chinese party, and the manager is from Portugal.
So naturally you will be seeing a few footballers from Portugal, but to my great surprise there are ten footballers from Portugal in the starting eleven, and there is only one English footballer in that eleven.
The question I ask here is what ever happed to the compulsory home grown players..?
Mind you next year when England will finally be leaving the European Union , hen footballers coming
to join English football clubs in any division will no longer be getting work permits so easily,as they get it today.
