Since the time the first world cup was played back in the year 1930 in Uruguay, thousands of footballers have played this beautiful game and till 2018 world cup in Russia.
Now I find that there have been only two famous footballers to go and single handedly win a world cup for their country.
1) The Brazilian wizard Garricha THE LITTLE BIRD>. He won the wporld cup in 1962 for Brazil.
2) Diego Maradona with Argentina in the yrear 1986.
Please note Brazil had a very gopod team and big names as well. But the Argentinean team was a average team.
