The Spanish central deefender and captain Sergio Ramos has now become the most capped footballer ever.
He hhas now won a total of 177, one hundred and seventy seven caps for Spain.
He has now created a new record , and has now overtaken the famous Italian goalkreper Gianluigi Buffons record of 176, one hundred and seventy six caps for Italy.
But it was a night to forget for Sergio Ramos, in the match with Switzerland, he came from the bench and missed two penalties.
Mind you he has scored 25, twenty five penalties for Spain.
