I doubt whether many remember the Croatian Messi?
He is named Allen Hallovic , he as a product of the famous Barcelona youth Academy THE LA MASIA or the CASTLE.
But he was touted as the very next Lionel Messi, and great and wonderful things were expected from him.
But sadly he failed to click at Barcelona , and later he moved on, after a nomadic life and several clubs , today he is in England with the English club Birmingham city.
