In football and World cup history Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first footballer ever to get a yellow card for scoring a legal goal against Serbia. Can you believe it ?
The dutch referee refused to give the clear goal scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, he said the ball did not completely cross the goal line, but photos clearly show otherwise.. But when Cristiano Ronaldo angrily questioned him ,the Portuguese captain was yellow carded.
According-to the F.I.F.A rules , a goal is given only when the entire ball crosses the goal-line. Even if a goalkeeper has both feet behind the goal line and catches the ball in the air ,it s t a goal as the entire ball did not cross the goal line.
Now the Dutch referee was refereeing for a world cup match and not a friendly all the six referees should be demoted into the fifth tier of football as they are very bad referees.
