Now the six English Premier League clubs that had joined the European Super League, which is now in court the EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE,, and it will be heard soon but it will take a few months to get the final decision. Now te six clubs have agreed to pay three and a half million pounds, for developing grassroots football. and will take a five percent cut from their earnings next year.
But this has not gone down well with the fourteen clubs from the English premier League, who say the punishment is very lenient just a knock on the wrist..
But let me remind them that the judge hearing te case at the Commercial court in Spain, had clearly said no action of any kind should be taken against the twelve clubs, and can not intimidate or threaten them till the final decision is taken by the court.
He has now give referral to the European Court of justice in the European union to hear the case, so the verdict will apply to all European clubs and not only to Spanish clubs.
U.E.F.A were taking disciplinary action against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, they wanted to expel these three clubs for two years. But a court in Switzerland, as U.E.F.A have their headquarters there, has told U.E.F.a not to intimate the matter until court comes with a verdict.
