Now the president of the Spanish La Liga Javier Tebas , has come forward to say that the Spanish La Liga will nit be registering Lionel Messi as a Barcelona player with his new contract with Barcelona..
The reason put by him was that the wage bill of Barcelona is very huge, but it has to be trimmed drastically.
But Barcelona have done just that they sold a few players like Luis Suarez,Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, all had huge weekly salary.
But the new contract put forward for Lionel Messi, has his wages cut by half , it is now only 50 fifty million pounds.
And what Javier Tebas should know here is that the entire world is suffering from the Corona virus, or the Chinese virus.It has brought the entire world economically to their knees., they are playing in empty stadiums so money will be really tight, so La Liga need not be so rigid.
Or by the way is this a dirty political thing taken by the La Liga.
As Barcelona was a founder member of the EUROPEAN SUPER LEAGUE, earlier Javier Tebas had vowed to throw Real Madrid and Barcelona, out of the La Liga for good.
But let me remind him that the Commercial court of Madrid Spain, had warned U.E.F.A and F.I.F.A along with heir football F.A, s world over not to put any restrictions, bans, fines or any action that might intimate this case , which is now in te EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE in E.U.
Barcelona will go to court mind you and fight the case for sure.
