LEICESTER CITY HAVE THE ADRIEN SILVA APPEAL REJECTED BY F.I.F.A.

During the summer transfer window of 2017, the English club Leicester City went and sold Danny Drinkwater to Chelsea on the last day for 35, thirty five million pounds. They then brought the Portuguese footballer Adrien Silva for a sum of 25, twenty five million pounds. But some one in the office of Leicester City took a lot of time to send the paper to the F.A for finalising the deal, and by the time they sent it to the F.A,he club was14, fourteen minutes late as the transfer window was official closed 14, fourteen minutes earlier. Now Adrien Silva was not officially a Leicester City player and so could not play. Leicester City then took their case to F.I.F.A, and F.I.F.A have thrown their case out, as they also said that they were to late. Now this means Leicester City will not be allowed to let him play a single match , till the January transfer market opens. It also means Leicester City will now have to pay the wee salary according to his contract without kicking the ball once even. Mind you the transfer window shut 34, thirty four days ago.

F.I.F.A have not registered the Portuguese player Adrien Silva , as a Leicester city player , so now legally he will not be considered a player for the Foxes, even though the money was paid for the midfielder, who was brought by Leicester City to replace the midfielder Danny Drinkwater , who was sold to Chelsea on the last day of the transfer window. Now the big problem facing Leicester City is that Adrien Silva can not play a single game till the month of January when the transfer window does open up again. And the other big problem is that Leicester City will be bound to pay Adrien Silva's weekly wages, without him playing a single match even. And neither can they sell him in January , simply because he is not yet a Leicester City player in the F.I.F.A records. In fact Adrien Silva was brought by Leicester city from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of 22, twenty two million pounds. But the Leicester city failed to complete the transfer deal by 14, fourteen seconds only . It was a case of being so near and yet so far. But now Adrien Silva says he will go to court to settle the matter.
