the Spanish giants Real Madrid have really won something here. In the 2016/2017 season Real Madrid went all out and defeated their arch rival Barcelona to win the Spanish League that year. Not only that they now have become the only club to win the champion league two years in a row. Yes Real Madrid did win the champion league in a row, but that was way back in the period of the Spanish dictator General Franco.. Well then as general Franco was a staunch Real Madrid fan he saw to it that players like Fernc Puskas, and Alberto di Stefano would join Real Madrid and not Barcelona. here f winning two champion league trophies in two years is something really great. So let us give credit where credit is due.

ALBERTO DI STEFANO DIES AT THE AGE OF 88 YEARS.

Alberto Di Stefano , who was originally from Argentina but played for Spain and Real Madrid in the 1950s. He was a fantastic all rpond footballer he was in the famous Real Madrid team that won the Champion League cup five years in a row, no other club has done it in Europe. Those five Champion League Cups have helped Real Madrid to win their tenth Champion League trophy in all. He was appointed as life president of the Real Madrid club, he was still the president when the end came sadly, that was how much he loved football. But sadly he was a heart patient and had undergone a few bypass surgeries as well. On 5/7/ 2014 he was having lunch at a hotel at Madrid when he suffered the latest attack . He died on 7/7/2014. The world has lost a great footballer and a gentleman as well.

BARCELONA HAVE WON 16 GAMES IN A ROW.

The Spanish giants Barcelona have now made history, they have now won their sixteenth successive Spanish league game. They have now broken the Spanish record which was held by mighty Real Madrid from the year 1960-1961, during the Alberto De Stefano and Pu skas period.
