SO FAR ONLY EIGHT BRITISH FOOTBALLERS HAVE PLAYED IN A CHAMPION LEAGUE FINAL. MATCH.
So far sadly only eight footballers from Briton have ever played in a Champion League final match. They are as follows.
1)Paul Lambert.
2)Steve McManaman.
3)Owen Hargreaves.
4)Steve Archibald.
5) Laurie Cunningham.

THE F.A CELEBRATE 150 YEARS, CALL IT SIR BOBBY ROBSON DAY.
As the English F.A celebrates 150 years, this day is called Sir Bobby Robson Day,. One of England's best loved football person.
It is rare to find a person who was so widely loved by his team mates, opposite teams as well as fans , all at one time.
He may not have done so well as a player, but as a manager he outshone everyone.
From Clubs like Ipswich, where he won the F.A. cup, West Brom Albion to Newcastle United.
He then moved to F.c.Porto where they won the league. He then moved to Holland where he won the the Dutch league with P.S.V Eindhoven. He then went to sunny Spain with Barcelona, where he won the Spanish cup and also the Copa Del Rey that year..
He then returned to his beloved Newcastle United and took a club from the bottom in the E.P.L to the champion league.
His best years were 1986 when he was the manager of England , in the 1986 world cup and took it to semi finals.
In 1990 was his best year for England , in the world cup in Italy. With players like Alan Shearer, David Platt, Peter Shilton , Paul Gascoigne and Cris Waddle, they reched the semi finals, to be beaten by West Germany.

FOOTBALLERS WHO MADE BAD TRANSFERS AND MISSED A CHAMPION LEAGUE TROPHY.
1) Shinji Kagawa left Borrusia Dortmund in 2012/2013 , and joined Manchester United . Borrusia Dortmund play the final with Bayern Munich..
2) Criss Waddle left Marselle to join Sheffield Wednesday in 1992 Marseille defeated A.C.Milan to win the title.
3) Patrik Berger left Borussia Dortmund to join Liverpool in 1996. But Borussia Dortmund won their only champion leagu defeating Juventus 3-1 in 1996/ 1997.
4)Markus Babeljoined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in 2000.Bayern won 5-4 on penalties verses Valencia.
5)Heider Postiga, joined Tottenham Hotspurs in 2003. But F.C.POrto won the champion league under Jose Mourinho verses Monoco.
6) Michael Owen left Liverpool to join Real Madrid in the year 2004, Steven Gerrard and Rafael Benitez won the champion league in 2005.
7)Zalatan Ibrahimovic moved to from Inter Milan to Barcelona, but Jose Mourinho won the Champion league with Inter Milan in 2009. He then moved to A.C.Milan that year Barcelona won the Champion League.
