ROBERT GREEN TO JOIN CHELSEA ON A FREE TRANSFER.

The former English goalkeeper Robert Green who played for West Ham united and Queen Park Ranger's as well as Hdudelfield , who had released him as a free agent. He has now agreed to the terms at Chelsea and has now to under go a medical as well. But what is worrying is that he is 38, thirty eight years at the twilight of his football career, in fact Chelsea should have looked for a younger goalkeeper who could serve the club for a long time. And honestly he is not good enough, I remember at one world cup he let the ball role between his open legs. He then lost his place to David James. But Chelsea have made it very clear that hey will not be selling Thibaut Courtois , until they can buy a real good goalkeeper, to replace the Belgian. But getting Robert Green on a free transfer will increase the number of home grown players for Chelsea.

THE LONG WAIT IS OVER FOR PETR CECH , TO KEEP TWO HUNDRED CLEAN SHEETS.

Petr Cech the Arsenal goalkeeper has now kept a record 200 two hundred clean sheets at Arsenal and at Chelsea as well, in fact in his younger days at Chelsea, he had kept a total of 163, one hundred and sixty three clean sheets at Chelsea. But it was a very long wait for Petr Cech to reach this magical target of 200, two hundred clean sheets. It came in the game between Arsenal and Watford, which Arsenal won with a score of 3-0. It took Petr Cech a total of 11 eleven games and three months to reach this magical figure of 200, two hundred clean sheets, as he was stuck at 1999 one hundred and ninety nine clean sheets for three months and eleven games as well.. David James , also known Calamity James was the previous record holder with 167 one hundred and sixty seven clean sheets. By the way Petr Cech has become the only goalkeeper to keep a 200 clean sheet in his English football career.

This record was held by the former england and well traveled goalkeeper called David James, who was also called CALAMITY JAMES. whose record stood at 169 clean sheets in the E.P.L. Petr Czech was after this record for some time now, but the leaky guilty Arsenal defence made him wait till the Aston Villa game on 13/12/2015. which Arsenal won 2-0. With goals from Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS CLAIM HUGO LORIS IS FAR BETTER THEN PETR CECH.

I strongly feel that the Tottenham Hotspurs are quite wrong here. As they claim that their French goalkeeper Hugo Loris is a far better goalkeeper then Petr Cech the now Arsenal goalkeeper. The goal keeping of Petr Cech is far superior then Hugo Loris, for example Petr Cech in the year 2004/2005 let in only fifteen goals in as Chelsea goalkeeper, it is feet not possible for Hugo Loris to do let us be honest here, h has the second most clean sheets in four hundred games for Chelsea he has 150 clean sheets, David James holds the record with 170 clean sheets Can Hugo Loris match these records. The answer is a loud no. So Arsenal did not make a mistake in buying Petr Cech.

David James the former English goalkeeper , who had 53 caps for england , and was a goalkeeper for Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Portsmouth a well. He was often called CALAMITY JAMES for making costly blunders in the goal. He is now retired and is a pundit. He has now gone bankrupt even though he has made over twenty million pounds during his playing days. Things all started falling apart after he and his wife had a divorce in the year 2005, she milked him as she got half of all his money and property.

THE F.A.CUP FINAL 2010.

The F.A. Cup for the year 2010 was between Chelsea and Portsmouth. That is this years E.P.L. Winner and the club coming last in the table, also a the first club in the E.P.L to be under a adminstrator for going in debt. While Chelsea club is one of the richest in the world , with costliesyt players ever. So on the paper they were bound to give a hiding to Portsmouth, we expected something like six to seven goals. As Chelsea scored seven verses Aston Villa and eight verses Wigan Athletic. But we were in for a far better game , David James , often called calamity james stood like a wall, along with the defence till the 59th minute when Dider Drogba scored a great dipping free kick that finaly beat David James. This was a big relief to the huge Chelsea fans, they then thought that the flood gates would open, but nothing happened . Chelsea won the F.A. cup with a miserable goal only.
But it had its sad moments as well ,the German Michael Ballack was tackled by the Portsmouth defender Kevin Prince Boateng, that damaged the ankle . So sadly Ballack will miss the 2010 world cup. The German press came heavily on Boateng and the injury.

WHO WILL BE ENGLANDS GOALKEEPER.

The big worry for Fabio Capello is to choose tjhe wright goalkeeper for the 2010 world cup in South Africa. the main choice he has are 1) David james.2) Joe Hart. 3) Paul Robinson and Robert Green.
David James should not be selected as he is now almost 40 years old and his reflections will be slow. I remind you all that Peter Shilton in the 1990 world cup , missed a deflected ball in the free kick of Andrea Brehme, which resulted in a goal. And David Seamen who was 38 years old in the 2002 world cup, was beaten by a beautiful Ronoldhino dipper free kick.
My choice would be Joe Hart as the goalkeeper, even as he has been on loan at Birmungham, from Manchester City. He has done very well indeed. But neither Robert green or Paul robinson have not ben convincing this year.

But unfortunately they had to charteer an airline, as their regular airline in which they travelled , suddenly announced that they were gone bankrupt,. And to make matters worse they had to stay at a place which charged 65 poundsa night only per person.
I wonder what state of mind the Porthsmouth players were in , for they lost the game 3-2, with David James making a blunder once again. No wonder he is called Calamity James.
