Steven Gerrard who played for his childhood club Liverpool for many years ,and he played under several managers as well, it may be thought by many that he always wore the famous number 8 jersey at Liverpool, but it is not so. Back in the year 2004, along with Michael Owen and Emile Heskey , and under the watchful eye of the French coach Gerrard Huoilier he was then wearing the jersey number 17.
