WAS ZINEDINE ZIDANE REALLY RESPONSIBLE FR FRANCE LOSING THE 2006 WORLD CUP FINAL.

In the year 2006, the world cup was being played in Germany for the very first time, but what you must know is that this time it was a unified Germany and not just West Germany. The final match of the 2006 world cup was being played between France and Italy. The match was a draw till the normal time of 90,ninety minutes. The match then went to extra time of 30, thirty minutes, f 15, fifteen minutes of each half. But during the extra a very ugly seen took place between the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane and the Italian defender Marco Materazzi. It appears that Marco Materazzi said something o Zinedine Zidane, which really angered Zinedine Zidane so much that he head butted the Italian Marco Materezzi, who then fell flat to the ground. Now Zinedine Zidane , was shown a straight red card for the head butting. According to F.I.F.A rules footballers are not allowed to touch or even push another footballer. Now Italy won that final on a penalty shoot out, while France failed to hit their last penalty. So if Zinedine Zidane was not sent out with a red card, he would have cored that winning penalty for France.

the former Italian ans inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi, who was head butted by Zinedine Zidane at the 2006 world cup final, it was not certain why it was done, some say that the Italian said things about Zidanes sister, even a lip reader was used.

But at the 2010 champion league match between Inter Milan and Real Madrid, which was plaid at the San Siro.Both met at the hotel where Real Madrid players stayed. As Zidane who played for Real Madrid for years is now one of their staff.

The Italian and Intermilan defender Marco Materazzi has won a defamation case against the the Daily Mail. .For printing wrong and and untrue stories.
It all started at the 2006 world cup final in Germany.Marco Materazzi said something to the french nidfielder Zinedine Zidane.What was said was not known , and Zidane refused to say anything after he head butted the chest of Materazzi, and Zidane got a red card forthe butting, and Materazzi gota two game ban.
The Daily Mail printed that Materazzi had called Zidane ason of a terrorist Whore. Which was not true. The Daily Mail appologised and paid Materazzi a substantialamount of money, but the actual ammount was never disclosed.
People had tried to use lip readers to find the real truth and know what was said.
But Marco Materazzi says this( I pulled at his jersey, and Zidane said I will give it to you after the match.. ) to which Materazzi replied I would rather have your sister. This naturaly angered Zidane, because he is a muslim and they respect ladies a great deal more then Europens.So Zidane head butted Materazzi.
