SO CAN LIONEL MESS'S RECORD OFSIX HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR GOALS BE BROKEN.

 Now that the Argentinean striker Lionel Messi,has gone and broken the old record set by the world famous footballer Pele who had scored a total of 643, six hundred and forty three goals f, for a single club Santos in Brazil.

 Now Lionel Messi has scored 644, six hundred and forty four goals for one club Barcelona..

Now the very big question is Will this record ever be beaten? And the answer here is no never. 

Now to score 644, six hundred and forty four goals , a footballer wil realistically  have to score 43, forty three goals each year for a period of 15, fifteen years to achieve that.

 And no footballer has ever scored 30 thirty goals for  ten years in a row.

LIONEL MESSI BREAKS PELES RECORD FOR MOST GOALS AT A SINGLE CLUB.

The Argentinean striker Lionel Messi has now officially become the only player to,score the most goals playing for a single club in football history.

 He had equaled the previous record, which was held by the Brazilian great  Pele, who had scored 643 goals for Santos

 Lionel Messi scored a goal number 644 for Barcelona. in the match with Real Valladolid.

 Now Pele scored the 643 goals for Santos in 19,nineteen years. from  1956/1974.

 While LionelMessi scored his first goal for Barcelona in the year 2005.

Lionel Messi  has now gone and equaled  the record of scoring the most goals for a single club in history.

 The goal was held by the Brazilian footballer Pele, while playing for  his Brazilian club Santos

 Pele had scored a total of 642 six hundred ad forty two goals for Santos.

 While Lionel Messi has now scored 642 six hundred and forty two goals for Barcelona in Spain.

 And now Lionel Messi needs just one more goal to set a new record. Now the question here is if he will set a new record or not but when?

THE GREAT GORDON BANKS DIES AT EIGHTY ONE YEARS..

The former England Leicester City, and Stoke City goalkeeper died on 12/2/2019, at the ripe old age of eighty one years , he died peacefully in his sleep. But he wa sadly suffering from Kidney cancer lately. Gordon Banks was also one of the heaviest goalkeepers, but that did not stop him from being one of the greatest goalkeepers ever. As he is ranked the second best goalkeeper ever, they are as follows 1) Lev Yashin, Russia, 2) Gordon Banks England 3) Dino Zoff Italy. Gordon Banks was the goalkeeper when England won their only world cup in 1966. But he is equally remembered for that goal save from a header by Pele , I the 1970 world cup, this save was so very good that for a minute Pele thought it was a goal, but it was saved by Gordon Banks. In fact this particular save has gone down in the football records as the save of the century, and football lovers still speak proudly about that greatest save ever. But things to a very sad turn for Gordon Banks and football, the great goalkeeper was involved in a car accident in the year 1972, and in which Gordon Banks lost a eye, bringing his glittering football career to a sad and sudden end. And it was a very dark and gloomy day for football as a whole, a great career cut sort b a tragedy.

THIS IS THE OLDEST FOOTBALL CLUB IN HISTORY.

The English club Sheffield F.C. according to the record books was started in the year 1857 by two cricketers actually, who played for the cricket club Sheffield. The two cricketers to start the club were Sir Nathaniel Cheswick and William Prest. These two made the first real rules for football like heading, a wooden goal bar , corners. In the beginning they played games this way Married verses the Singles and so on. And as Sheffield was started in the year 1857 it is the oldest standing club playing football still. It has fans like Brazilian Pele. And Sheffield were awarded the trophy in the year 2004 from F.I.F.A. THE AWARD O MERRIT. It was very disheartening to see the very great Pele in this sad state. After all he is the only footballer in the world to win three world cups. He is the only footballer in the world to have scored over a thousand goals in his long and glittering career, the figure is 1,283 one thousand two hundred and eighty three goals. This figure can only be dreamed by Cristiano Ronaldo and others. It was for a very good reason he was called Brazils heritage, and was not allowed to play for a European club, he only played with the COSMOS at the end of his career. The great Pele was greeted by president Vladimir Putin and was kissed by Diego Maradona when he arrived in Russia on a wheel chair.

As the story goes when he Pele was a young boy, the Brazilian club Vasco Da Gama , had a goalkeeper called Bile, and Pele always pronounced it as Pele instead of Bile, and so the name has stuck for good. Now Pele has now decided to put up his three world cup medals,the ball with which he scored goal number 1000, one thousand only.That historical goal was scored by Pele, for his club Santos vs Vasco Da Gama. After all he is the only footballer in the world to score over a thousand goals in his career. Even the replica of the Jules Rimet trophy, after he won the the third world cup for Brazil in 1970. The auction is expected to get a lot of money, much more than what was said at first.

That is two hundred and seventy , 270 goals for Barcelona and thirty one goals for Argentina, in 419 games.He has now scored 13 goals in this season. He has now scored 73 goals in all competition in 2012. That is two goals less then the great Pele with 75 goals for Santos and Cosmos in 1959.And 12 goals less then Gerd Muller who has scored all time record with 85 goals for Bayern Munich and West Germany in 1972.

The big question all are asking is who is better Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo may be faster then Messi , and people say Messi scores more goals mainly because Xavi and Andrea Iniesta keep feeding him with very good passes. But this may be true then Ozil feeds Ronaldo. Ronaldo is known to go down far to easilly and get free kicks and penalties. The goals he scores from open play are less compared to Messi,.

ELIAS FIGUEROA, THE GREAT DEFENDER.

Elias Figueroa the famousChilean footballer was born on25/10/1946. His playing position was as a central back. He played his club football in Chile from the year1964 to 1982.
In Peles list of 125 best footballers ever played ,there are only two footballers from Chile in that list. They are Elias Figuueroa the defender and the sriker Ivan Zamarona.
He has played seventy times for Chile, and is considered their greatest defender ever.
He has also played in atotal of three world cups for Chile. They were the 1966 world cup, the 1974 world cup and 1982 world cup.
