DIEGO MARADONA AT THE 1986 WORLD CUP.

 The Argentinean captain single handedly won the world cup for  Argentina in the year 1986 in Mexico.

He Diego Maradona did not win the Golden Boot, That was that year  won by Gary Lineker. of England.

 But the 1986 quarter final match played between England and Argentina is spoken about even today and the English are still very angry over it, and still feel cheated.

 In the match Diego Maradona illegally used his hand to score a goal, if you look at that particular picture very closely  it shows the English goalkeeper Peter Shilton comes forward to punch the ball, but he misses it by inches, but Diego Maradona can be seen with both of his eyres shut as he was afraid Peter Shilton would punch him.. Maradona said he would gladly score one goal with his left hhand and one with his right hand..

But Why do the Argentineans hate the English?Now England and Argentina fought a naval war over a Island near Argentina called FALKLAND ISLANDS., both  claimed  the Island. England sent a few aircraft carriers and their HARRIER jets anfd defeated  the Argentinean navy.

WHAT IF V.A. R WAS THERE TWENTY YEARS AGO, FOOTBALL WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.

Today V.A.R is having teething problems these days but if it had been introduced 20,twenty years ago some football results would have been very different today. 1) 1986 the world cup in Mexico, and in the match between Argentina and E, and Lionel Messi wold not be compared for not winning a world cup.,, there the captain of Argentina Diego Maradona, used his hands to tap the ball into the net, Peter Shilton and England protested but that goal stayed THE HAND OF GOD GOAL.Diego Maradona would not have won a world cup 2) 2003/2004 Arsenal became the only English club to win E.P.L without losing a single match in that season. But during the match played between Arsenal and Portsmouth, Robert Pires dived to get a penalty and get all three points. 3) 2006. It was a champion league match between Barcelona and Arsenal, Arsenal were playing in their first champion league final, and they took the lead through a Sol Campbell header , but Samuel Eto'o was clearly offside when the pass was made, picture clearly show so. 4) 2009. It was the world cup qualifying match played between France and Northern Ireland, Here Thierry Henry taped the ball for William Galas to score the goal.
