  Now Barcelona did lose their champion league match against P.S.G with a score of 4-1.

 And the  world cup winner Kylian Mbappe scored his first hat trick in a champion league.

 People say that Lionel Messi did not do enough in the match, but now he no longer plays all the time as a striker but in the midfield due to his age which is now 33 thirty three years.

 But Lionel Messi did score the only goal for Barcelona, and it was penalty which was a new champion league record.

Now Lionel Messi becomes the  second footballer in champion league history after the Spaniard Raul Gonzalez , who had played for Real Madrid and Schalke.

But in this match Lionel Messi went and equalled a champion league record which was held by the Spaniard Raul Gonzales who had scored 14 fourteen goals in fourteen years in a row. Now Lionel Messi has also scored 14, fourteen goals in fourteen years in a row. Please kindly note even Cristiano Ronaldo has not scored 14, fourteen goals in fourteen years either. And he becomes the only footballer to score 8, eight hat tricks in a row. And the number of goals scored for Barcelona is 559, five hundred and fifty nine.

The Spanish striker Fernando Torres who had played on two times for the Madrid club Atletico Madrid. He had joined Atletico Madrid youth Academy as a young boy , but sadly Atletico Madrid closed down their youth Academy, and some youngsters were sold out like Raul Gonzales , who was sold to Real Madrid , early in the 1990s. But when Arsenal wanted to buy Fernando Torres , Atletico Madrid refused to sell their youngster , saying they could not afford to sell out two young strikers in one year. Fernando Torres did well at Atletico Madrid , and was then sold to Liverpool, where he really did well, he was then sold out to Chelsea by Liverpool for a then record of 50, fifty million pounds. But sadly he was a very big flop at Chelsea. At Atletico Madrid Fernando Torres was called THE EL NINO, or THE KID. He scored a total of 128 goals for Atletico Madrid. Now at 34 , thirty four years he is finding it hard to get a starting place at Atletico Madrid, mainly due to Diego Costa moving from Chelsea to Atletico Madrid.
