ROYSTON DRENTON WAS CALLED THE NEW ROBERTO CARLOS.BUT WHAT HAPPENED.

The Dutch football club Feyenoord, at Rotterdam , some years ago had a black footballer called Royston Drenthe , h was a left back, strong, fast and speedy runner from box to box, and he was a very good left back, after all, and he was dubbed the new ROBERTO CARLOS, the Brazilian Left back, who is a world cup winner with Brazil in the years 1994 and 2002. So it was natural that big clubs would soon come knocking on his door. The Spanish giants Real Madrid, finally won the race to sign up Royston Drenthe, and he was just 20, twenty years old then, but the very big move to Spain and Real Madrid was a very wrong move for Royston Drenthe, as he said it in his own words, the move was a very bad move, as He was far to young, and to have the famous tag of THE NEW ROBERTO CALOS ,was far to heavy ,it was a millstone round my neck. To compare a twenty year old lad, who played eleven years at Real Madrid, and a few years at Inter Milan. Naturally the gap between Royston Drenthe , and Roberto Carlos was far to much for the youngster. He did very badly and was finished as a footballer before it even started sadly. He tried it out on loan even with other clubs but it all were failures. He said he was always crowded by the press and public were all around him even his agent and people around him coned him. Today at a young age he retired from all football, and the latest was he is a Rapper now.

REAL MADRID ARE FORCED TO SELL PLAYERS.

The Spanish giants Real Madrid are now forced to sell nine players, this was mainly because the new president of Real Madrid Florentino Perez has splashed out a huge sum of money on two players. Hehas spent 150 million pounds on Christiano Ronaldo, whom he brought for 80 million pounds and Kaka for 65 million pounds.And he also wants to buy David Villa from Vaslencia for 40 million pounds.

Drenthe, Robben and Nistelrooy get atotal of 10 million euros as salary between them.

REAL MADRID VERSES JUVENTUS.

This championship match was held at Reals Madrids ground the famous Bernabeu.
The old sriker of juventus Alessandro Del Piero , who is thirtythree years old was the star of the match all over again. the first goal came after sixteen minutes and the goal was scored by Alessandro Del Piero. the second goal took some time to come , but during that time Real Madrid had their chances to score a goal, their best chance fell to their defender Sergio Ramos , but Ramos missed a real sitter of a goal. This would be costly for Real Madrid.
because in the second half in the the sixtyseventh minute Alessandro Del Piero scored a beautiful free kick to make the game safe for Juventus (THE OLD LADY OF TURIN ) goes marching on into the knockout stages , the groupof sixteen.
It was indeed heartening to see the Real Madrid fans aplaude Alessandro Del Piero when he was later substituted.Claudio Raneirri was proud of the thirtythree year old player who did well in both the games and scored three goals.

So now Real Madrid have lost two games against Juventus and have lost six valuble points.
