WE SAY FAREWELL TO SOME GREAT FOOTBALLERS WHO RETIRED AFTER GLORIOUS CAREERS.

On 20/5/2013 at the end of the season we said our goodbyes to some very great and famous footballers who had long football careers with one club or with several clubs. 1) David Beckham retired at 38 years after playing in England, Spain, Italy and France.Who can ever forget his free kick goal verses Greece that helped England qualify for the world cup. 2) Paul Scholes, who played all his life for Manchester United , and even came out of retirement twice. In Alex Fergusons words . He has failed to find a controlling midfielder like Paul Scholes. 3) Jamie Caraghar , who played only for Liverpool in the defense, finally called it a day. 4) Stephen Harper the Newcastle Uniteds goalkeeper had to hang up his gloves at the age of thirty eight years. He lost many years sadly as the first choice goalkeeper , for years was Shay Given. And with Tim Krul in he decided to retire wisely. 5) Michel Owen , once the darling of Liverpool , till hamstring injuries came regularly for him.But who can forget the solo goal scored by Michael Owen in the 1998 world cup. 6) Lastly Sir Alex Ferguson who was manager for his 1,5000 game , sadly it was a 5-5 draw.. I personally I am grateful for the many happy football hours of joy given to us all. 7) This player and former captain of Aston Villa Stillyan Petrov was forced to retire very sadly from this beautiful game of football as he was fighting another battle Accute Leukemia, belived to have got from Chernobyl leak, as he is from Bulgaria.

THE E.P.L MANAGER FOR 2011/2012.

The big surprise for the year 2011/ 2012 in the E.P.L was the most successive manager was not the usual Sir Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger . The man who really did well as manager was Alan Pardew of Newcastle United. He brought them to the brink of Champion league, a thing Newcastle did was under the late Sir Bobby Robson He made good signings as well even though he lost his best players. 1) He lost Joe Barton , their captain and free kick specialist. 2) Jose Enrique joined Liverpool. 3) Stephen Harper their goalkeeper was out for a long time injury. 4) Stephen Taylor was also injured. Tim Krul was their rookie goalkeeper who really did well , big clubs in Europe want him

WAS SCOTT LOCH THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR ENGLAND.

fabio Capello got a rude shock with Paul Robinson announcing his retirement, and Ben Foster out with a back injury. While Joe Hart is the best choice to stand between the posts. But Fabio Capello forgot to choose a goalkeeper with experience. My choice would have been the Newcastle United goalkeeper Stephen Harper. Stephen harper had to sit for years on the bench as Shay Givens was in the goalkeeper position for years. Harper would be a better choice then goalkeepers in the second division.

STEPHEN HARPER HAD TO WAIT MANY YEARS.

Stephen Harper the New Castle goalkeeper first joined New Castle in the year 1993, but his place in the side was as always as a substitute goalkeeper the reason was that the ever sharp alert, agile, and sharp keeper Shay Given was always a first choice goalkeeper , from Ruud Gulitt days. He had to be given out on loan to several clubs as Given took the goalkeeper job .
But now after an groin injury to Shay Given only did Harper get a real chance. The number of games between1993 and 19999 campion League game with Juventus are many.
Some say it could be 924 games from 1993 to the time Given had a groin injury.
Now stephen Harper is back as the first choice keeper as the Irishman has been sold to Manchester City for big amount.
