But it will be a very sad day for Football the fans, U.E.F.A and F.I.F.A as well, if the trophy goes to Virgil Van Dijk. To be the best footballer in Europe you will have to score a lot of goals and win a lot of trophies as well, it is not just by winning a champion league, as last year it clearly showed the world that you can win a Balloon d'Or, like last year the journalists who voted for Luka Modric did win the trophy after scoring three goals in last year can you imagine this nonsense. Last year Lionel Messi scored fifty goals in a calendar year, he won the Golden Boot in Europe, as he scored the most goals in European countries like Italy, Spain, France , England and Germany. Last year he won the award number 164, one hundred and sixty four, with the Alberto Di Stefano award for the best footballer in Spain and also the Pinchi Chichi award for scoring the most goals in Spain, he also won the Spanish La Liga as well. I hope justice is done here for Lionel Messi.
