Lionel Messi has always been described as a failure in football for not winning a single world cup in his long and glittering career.
But many of football fans will be surprised to know that he could have won a world cup as well..
You see very early on in his Barcelona career he was offered a chance to play for Spain, but he politely rejected the offer and decided to stay loyal to Argentina instead.
But we must let our imagination run wild here .
Just imagine Lionel Messi along with Fernando Torres David Villa the three of them could have won a world cup in 2014.
Spain did win a world cup in 2010,
After all he is a very loyal footballer to club and country.
