David Villa the Spanish striker who had played for Valencia before he joined Barcelona in the year 2010, had this to say about Lionel Messi. He was just plain awesome he could play in any position on the pitch and still feel at home, he as very calm person. We all now about his famous left foot, and he got goals with his right foot as well. BARCELONA TERMINATE THE CONTRACT OF SERGIO SAMPER.

According to THE DAILY MAIL, the Spanish giants have now gone and terminated the contract of their 24, twenty four year old footballer, who was captain of the Barcelona, B team, and also played for Barcelona main team in the LA Liga. Just to inform you all he joined Barcelona and the La Massia as a six year old boy, and played for Barcelona for eighteen long years, but very sadly he was often injured, and was given out on loan several times as well, he was a bright prospect and Arsene Wenger wanted to buy this holding midfielder once, but it never did work out. But he won a Champion League , a La Liga , a Copa Del Rey a Super club cup and a Spanish super cup. Not bad for a often injured player I must say. Now that his contract has been terminated he will be joining the Japanese club Kobe. But he will be playing with fellow Spaniards David Villa, Andres Iniesta and the German Lukas Potloski. Barcelona have a clause in their contract preventing their famous players from joining any elite club in Europe, Even Xavi Hernandez is playing for a club in Qatar.

He has replaced the striker David Villa who has hurt his ankle .

BARCELONA WIN THEIR FIRST CUP OF THE 2013/2014 SEASON

 Barcelona have won their first trophy  of the year , as well as the new manager from Argentina.
 Barcelona won their Super cup.
The match was played   against the two clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid .
 In the first leg played at Madrid , the match ended in a 1-1 tame draw with  David Villa , the former Barcelona striker scoring the first goal.
 But the Brazilian striker Neymar who joined Barcelona fr a very huge amount headed in a equalizer.
 In the second leg   i was even  a tamer game with the match ending in a 0-0 draw, but here  Lionel Messi  was guilty of  missing a penalty.
 Barcelona won he cup on the away goal rule, the goal was scored by Neymar in the first leg  with a header.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS MISS OUT ON DAVID VILLA.

 The E.P.L club Tottenham Hotspurs  were very keen to buy the Spanish striker David Villa from the Spanish giants Barcelona.
 He joined Barcelona from Valencia for a good price. But now that Neymar has arrived at Barcelona , he is now considered as a surplus  t the club.
Two things were very much against him , one was his age  the other was he was he had broken his leg and was not in the  team.
 Tottenham Hotspurs were keen to buy a striker as they were going to sell Emmanuel Adebayor.for five million pounds..
 But as he wanted to end his career in Spain as he was 31 years old.. He is now sold to Atletico Madrid for 4..4 million pounds.

SPAIN THRASH TAHITI 10 -0

Spain in their confederation cup between Spain and Thaiti was a all one sided affair. A David Goliath fight, as Spain are European and World cup winners and Tahiti are plain minnows ranked roughly 150 in F.I.F.A world rankings.
Fernando scored  four goals, and he also missed scoring a penalty. David Villa the Barcelona striker scored three goals . And to add to the Tahiti misery David Silva scored two goals and Juan Mata scored goal number ten.

NOW CHELSEA WANT TO GET DAVID VILLA.

First it was rumored that Arsenal would sign the Spanish striker David Villa , who is 31 years old from Barcelona, as he is not getting a starting place at Barcelona, due to the many young stars coming from their academy THE LA MASIA. But Arsene Wenger is not the person to sign a 31 year old striker . Now it appears that the Chelsea coach Rafael Benitez wants to get David Villa from Barcelona on loan in January to partner Fernando Torres, and get the best of him.And now Daniel Sturridge will be leaving.

TROUBLE AT MANCHESTER CITY.

According to THE MIRROR, there is trouble at Manchester City, and the club is looking for a new striker in the summer. As Mario Bolotelli is a problem and Carlos Tevez will not be given a new contract also Gareth Barry as he will be 32 years old, along with James Milner.But the main concern is Segio Aguero is not happy, as Roberto Mancini is not happy with the number of goals scored by his striker, and his future may well be in doubt. Now if Sergio Aguero does leave then the City sporting director, who worked at Barcelona, has marked David Villa as a replacement, but he is 31 years old.

WHY BARCELONA LOST TO REAL MADRID.

There is no doubt that Barcelona are still a very strong side in the Spanish League. But the main reason they lost the Spanish title to their arch rivals Real Madrid , by a margin of seven points was mainly due to the long time injury of the star striker from Barcelona, David villa, he has missed almost the entire season and may also miss the EURO 2012. If Real Madrid has missed out Cristiano Ronaldo for the same period of time , then the title winners would have been some one else. MANCHESTER CITY ACT TOUGH WITH CARLOS TEVEZ.

Manchester City have now decided to get tough with rebel footballer Carlos Tevez, he is feeling homesick and wants to go back to his family. He has given his second transfer letter in two years.
Roberto Mancini the no nonsense guy has told Tevez that he is for sale and the asking price is 50 million pounds.So far nobody has come forward and I doubt anybody will come forward for this crazy price.
Roberto Mancini is looking for a replacement for Tevez, he asked Barcelona for the sale of David Villa, but was told that Villa would cost 45 million pounds.
And as there is three years left on Carlos Tevez contract , Mancini has said he will let Tevez rote away and wont be even on the bench , but City are ready to pay his 200,000 pounds weekly salary , for three years.
What a waste of excellent talent.
