This is indeed very bad news for the Spanish giants Real Madrid,with heir French central defender Raphael Varane, the French world cup winner , who joined Real Madrid in the year 2011 from a french club. He has now won eighteen trophies with Real Madrid, and he has said he wants a fresh challenge somewhere else.
Real Madrid on their part are willing to cash out on him now rather then lose him on a free transfer in the year 2022.
But it will be disastrous for Real Madrid as they are starring at losing both Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, two central defenders in one transfer window.
It will be difficult to replace these two very good quality defenders.
