THE E.P.L.S 2000 GOAL.

Since the E.P.L. started in 1992-1993. A total of 2000goals have been scored.
Brian Dean scored the first goal in the year 1992.
Sir Les Ferdinand scored Goal number 1000 . It was when he scored for Tottenham Hotspur in the year 2001. Ferdinand was given 10,000 pounds to be given to a charity of his choice.
The 2000 goal of the E.P.L. came in 2011, in a match between Arsenal and Aston Villa when the Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton scored a lucky goal due to a mistake between the two Arsenal defenders.
