ADEBAYOR CLAIMS FANS CHASED HIM OUT OF ARSENAL.

The Togo striker Emanuel Adebayor and former Arsenal striker claims that the Arsenal fans chased him out of Arsenal to Manchester City. This is not at all true as he wanted to leave Arsenal last year and join the Milans clubs, but they lost intrest in him as his form dipped and the goals also dried up, from the 30 he scored that year. His big drawback is that he would try and score a goal by kicking the ball straight instead of kicking it in the corner of the net, he has even kickedthe ball straight into the goalkeeper , which has angered the fans, fans hold such things against the player.
And Arsene Wenger is famous to buy players cheap and sell them for a good price. He joined Arsenal from Monoco for a total of 6or 7 million pounds, and he is sold for 25 million pounds. Yes Arsenal needs money to pay for the stadium they built THE EMIRATES.
Now what has he to do to pull Kolo Toure to Mancherster City?

ARSENAL VERSES VILLARREAL.

The first leg of the quarter final between Arsenal and Villarreal , was held in Spain. It was a match between the Gunners verses the Yellow submarines., because of the yellow uniform of Villarreal. It was also an emotional moment for the French winger Robert Pires, as Pires had spent five years with Arsenal.
The game was well matched. But Arsenal had earlyinjury problems , to both William Gallas, and the goalkeeper Manuel Alumania, the goalkeeper took treatment on the lines but was forced to leave the pitch, and the game changed complextion al over again in the favour of Vilarreal. The first goal came in the 10th minute of the game, from the Brazilian born but Spanish midfielder called Marcus Senna, he took a kick from 30 meters and the shot was thunderous cannonball, leaving Alumania no chance what so ever.
After Alumunia went out the Polish goalkeeper Fabrianski took over.
The first half was all Villarreal. And in the second half, it was all Arsenal with Gael Glichy hitting the post
Then it was left to the Spanish playmaker Cesc Fabregas to provide a beauty of a ball to Emanuel Adebayor, who controled it on his chest and then gave a bycicle kick into the corner of net to score a equalizer in the 66th minute of the match.
Now Arsenal will take away goal advantage to The Emirate stadium to play the second leg on April 15th.

ARSENAL VERSES MANCHESTER UNITED.

The long awaited clash between the two English giants was held on 8/11/2008. Manchester United as to its full strength, while Arsenal had a few injuries , Emanuel Adebayor and Emanuel Ebouhie wre absent to injuries , and the Dutch striker Robin Van Persie was suspended for this match. While William Gallas and Mickaal Silvestre had a fractured nosefrom a previous game and were only fifty percent fit for this important game..While Manchester United had no such worries or any suspension. So on paper Manchester United were definately the stronger and the side to win the is classic match.We must remember Arsene Wenger was strongly attacked by everyone for still depending on youth, over experience.
But what is wrong if the young Arsenal get results , without spending huge amounts per player, like 17, million pounds per player, when you can get that resultfor750,000 pounds.
when the match started Arsenal made a very, very nervous start as the team was a patched up team and Toure also was absent.Inthe early fifteen minutes Mickaal Silvestre made a very nervous back pass tothe goalkeeper leading toa free kick. But Arsenal gained confidence and carmed their nerves, as well as the Emirate fans.
But in the 23rd minute of this match which realy turned out to be a cracker of amatch , and one of great delight for the neutral viewer. Michel Carrick colided wth the Arsenal goalkeeper Emanuel Alumuni. but sadly Alumani could not play all the 90 minutes of the match. As he was feeling the affects of the collission and had to have treatment on the pitch.
and wasalso replaced by the Polish goalkeeper Fabriaski. It was in the 90th minute of the match Rafael De Silva scored a thunderous goal. And as there was six minutes added the question all asked was it enough for a win or a draw , The TottenhamHotspur game was on everybodys mind as Arsenal let it slip from their fingers of 4-2 to 4-4 in injury time.
But Arsenal defeated Manchester United once again ,.This was their 37th match and Arsenal have won 14, Manchester United 13, with 8 draws.But Arsenal were robbed of a penalty when Vidic , had his hands around Nasri, and he even pulled Nasris jersey.in the box,and nasri felland claimed for a penalty which was not given. But F.I.F.A. rule says holding with the handis a foul and holding the jersey is a bookable offence, and bringing a player down by the jerseyin the box is a penalty.It now looks like Manchester United games are fixed like Juventus did a few years ago. referee Harold WEbb cansay we referees are not gods . Vey true. But consult the linesmen when aplayer is dropped ina box.

ARSENAL VERSES FENERBARNCHE.

This was the return leg between the two teams, Arsenal and Fenerbarnche. The first leg ended in a 5-2 score in Arsenals favour. All thought that that Arsenal would score more goals like in the first game. But they were to be upset. AS the game was the usual fast one , which Arsenal is known for. Yes there were ample number of shots at the goal , Robin Van Persie was the one most guilty of missing chances , he could well have had a hat trick to his credit.But sadly it was a dull affair , with even Fabregas hitting the crossbar. And to make matters verse the French defender Mikaal Silvestre has been treated for a suspected broken nose. Adding to the injury list at Arsenal, with Theo Walcott, and Emanuel Adebayor already injured before the gameagainst Manchester United on Saturday the8th.
It was a game of simply to many chances wasted at both ends by both clubs sadly.

CHAMPION LEAGUE ARSENAL VERSES PORTO.

In the champion league in the match played at the Emirate stadium , the fortress of Arsenal.
It was a clash waited patiently by the Arsenal fans , as Arsenal were beaten by the new boys in the E.P.L on the previous game, and their second of the season and the second game ever at the Emirate stadium,. The previous winner was West Ham.
Inthe game between the English giants and the Portugese giants F.C. Porto.The game was expected to have a few changes in the Arsenal team , but there was only one change. And the game was thought to be an entertaining game. But it was far from the truth. Arsenal passing, keeping the ball on their own turf is well known, so Porto were completly outplayed . Arsenal scored four goals Robin Van Persie scored in the31 minute and 48 minute . While his stike partner Emanuel Adebayor scored in the 41 minute and with a penalty in the 71 minuteof the game.
It must be remembered that Arsenal have never lost a game after Emanuel Adebayor has scored a goal
F.C Porto played better in the second half but the game was over.
