ARSENAL VERSES VILLARREAL.

GERRARDS BRAWL AT THE LOUNGE INN.

The liverpool captain and Englands midfielder , Steven gerrard was involved in a brawl at the Lounge Inn at Southport. And will have to appear in front of a magistrate along with John Doran and Ian Smith on the 29/1/2009.
The trouble all started when Gerrard and a few other Liverpool players went to the Lounge Inn to celebrate their win over New Castle United..Gerrard wanted to use the swipe cardfor the music , and only staff can do it., Marcus McGee refused to give the swipe card to Gerrard , in the fight that followed Mr Marcus McGee lost a tooth and had four stitches and a swollen eye. ARSENAL VERSES MANCHESTER UNITED.

The long awaited clash between the two English giants was held on 8/11/2008. Manchester United as to its full strength, while Arsenal had a few injuries , Emanuel Adebayor and Emanuel Ebouhie wre absent to injuries , and the Dutch striker Robin Van Persie was suspended for this match. While William Gallas and Mickaal Silvestre had a fractured nosefrom a previous game and were only fifty percent fit for this important game..While Manchester United had no such worries or any suspension. So on paper Manchester United were definately the stronger and the side to win the is classic match.We must remember Arsene Wenger was strongly attacked by everyone for still depending on youth, over experience.
But what is wrong if the young Arsenal get results , without spending huge amounts per player, like 17, million pounds per player, when you can get that resultfor750,000 pounds.
when the match started Arsenal made a very, very nervous start as the team was a patched up team and Toure also was absent.Inthe early fifteen minutes Mickaal Silvestre made a very nervous back pass tothe goalkeeper leading toa free kick. ARSENAL VERSES FENERBACHE.

In the Champion league match between Arsenal and the Turkish giantsFenerbache which was held in the Fenerbache stadium at Istanbul was bound to be a difficult game with the Turkish home support to help.
But to make things more difficult for Arsenal was that Arsenal were without their main three deffenders for this match, the captain William Gallas was injured and laast week Kolo Toure fell on his shoulder badly andheart it, in the same match he fell again and was later taken out, and the young French defender Sagna to is injured.
This gave Wenger a big headache , so he brought in Alexander Song and Emmanuel Eboue fro midfield to do thejob with former Manchester United deffender Mikael Silvestre to do a shift job in the deffence, and it worked.
The Fenerbache coach Luis Arrogones told the players to keep Emmanuel Adebayour and Theo Wallcott quiet and covered all the time. But to keep such playersof speed are very difficult indeed.
The goals came from Emmanuel Adebayour with the ballpassing the goalkeeper Volkan Demyrel.. In the second goal Wallcott then got a chance to go around the keeper and slot the ball in the net. Fenerbache scored a goal through Danny Guiza shot was poked into his net by Mikael Silvestre for an own goal , then Abu Diaby scored Arsenals third goal Alexander Song the young Cameroon player scored the fouth goal and Aaron Ramsey scored the fifth goal for Arsenal . TRANSFERS BETWEEN ARSENAL AND MANU
