ALL IS NOT WELL AT REAL MADRID.

Real Madrid won their first match in the champion league verses Manchester City , with a score of 3-2 , a last minute goal by Cristiano Ronaldo. But even with the result going their way all does not seem to be well at Real Madrid.Sergio Ramos, Mezut Ozil and Luka Modric were on the bench. It is rumored that Sergio Ramos spoke out of turn and so he was left out. Mind you Sergio Ramos is expected to take over the armband from Iker Casillas. Jose Mourinho has done the same thing in 2005 while he was with Chelsea , when he kept both Ricardo Carvalho and also Arjen Robben on the bench. Carvalho questioned Mourinho and Arjen Robben objected to him being replaced.

SOME CHELSEA STARS WILL BE LEAVING IN JUNE

It is clear now Chelsea are going to clean out old wood in june, mainly as to cut down on the fees of players, as to adjust to the Torres and Luiz buy. Last summer , Deco, Ballack, Carvalho and other old ones were shown the door. Now it is Drogba,John Obi Mikel, Jose Bosingwa and Zhirhokov all will be watched like eagles.But one thing is clear Chelsea has failed to get the youngsters from their youth team to shine.

Carlo Anchelotti is still the coach of Chelsea , even though they have slipped to the fifth position in the E.P.L.The main reason is that Chelsea and its owner Roman Abrohomovic, is very keen to cut spending. So he got rid of Ricardo Carvalho, Juliano Belletti, Deco, Michael Ballack, all old wood.This year Chelsea has a loss of 40 million pounds already.
And now if they sack the Italian Carlo Anchelotti , Chelsea will have to pay him a compensation of 10 million pounds, this will then make a straight loss of 50 million pounds. The owner does not even want to buy new players in January tranfer window. He wants to do it in the summer.
And the players from the youth team have not done so well as expected, plus the main ones like Drogba, tery , Lampard are in their thirties now.

Chelsea before the club was sold to the Russian billionaire in the year 2003. before that with the Italian coach Claudio Ranierri at the helm , spent a total of 106 million pounds. While on the other hand Roman Abrohimovic has spent a total of 457 million pounds on players. And Chelsea collected gatemoney in the year 2003 39,478 million pounds. But now with the big stars and trophies it has reached only 41,423 people.So the increase in visitors is 1,639 people only not much. Or 278,828 fans .

No wonder he is cutting and trimming the squad, the old players like Deco, B elletti, Carvalho and ballack are released , so saving their huge salaries, this year thetre will be reduction in their Bonuses as well.

CLUBS CUT FUNDS AND REDUCE SPENDING IN THE SUMMER.

In the summer of 2010- 2011,clubs had to cut down in spending and reduce in buying players as well as get rid of old dead wood. For example Chelsea did not renew the contracts of Ballack, Belletti, Deco and carvalho all over 30 years with huge weekly salaries. The five top league cut their spending by 1.32billion Euros, or 1.69 billion dollars. Clubs also cut their squads by a total of 546 players. to reduce their costs, at the same time investments in foreign talent also saw a big decline as Spain have increased their taxes and in England the new rule comes in September only 25 players and eight homegrown players come in force.

Spains La Liga saw a decline by 45 percent. In France Ligue1 saw 45 percent , while in England the decline was less it fell by 15 percent only.The big clubs like Barcelona , Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United were very quiet in the market. But Manchester city spent merrily well over 100 million pounds.

RICARDO CARVALHO JOINS REAL MADRID .

The former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho has joined his former manager Jose Mourinho for a sum of 6.7 million pounds. Ricardo Carvalho was with F.C. Port o under jose mourinho , when they won the champion league way back in 2004. Now at thirty three years and frequent injuries , Chelsea have decided to sell Carvalho and go for the young Brazilian Luis for 23 million pounds.

Alex the Brazilian centre back defender for both Chelsea as well as for Brazil, has now gone frustrated as being a substitute centre back. As the place in Chelsea is usually played by John Terry and the Portugeese defender Ricardo Carvalho. He now gets a starting place at Chelsea , since Ricardo Carvalho has got a injury and will be out for some time to come.
